【 判子 (はんこ)・hanko 】seal

はんこ are seals used in place of a signature for signing, accepting, and acknowledging documents. The red ink pad is called 朱肉 (しゅにく shuniku).* When you receive a package, the delivery man may say,

こちらにハンコをお願いします。
(kochirani hanko wo onegaishimasu)
